Honeycomb shades for a Cremorne harbour outlook
Cordless top-down/bottom-up honeycomb shades across an open-plan living room with afternoon sun.
Six tall windows facing west across Sydney Harbour. The owners wanted view-uninterrupted light most of the day but glare control during the late afternoon. Top-down/bottom-up cordless shades let them drop a single panel from the top to filter the worst of the sun without losing the harbour entirely.
Honeycomb cellular fabric also drops the room temperature by ~3°C in summer — a happy side effect that more than pays for itself.
