PVC shutters for a Manly beach house
Marine-grade PVC plantation shutters across an exposed-coast beach house. Salt won't touch them.
Two metres from the high-tide line, the original timber shutters had warped within a year. We replaced everything with marine-grade PVC plantation shutters in a colour-matched white, hidden tilt rods, stainless hinges. The owners now hose them down quarterly and that's the maintenance schedule.
Standard 89mm louvres, frames cut to fit the existing reveal openings without modification.
